Don The Idea Guy has been coming up with
creative ideas and innovative action plans on behalf of a variety of clients
for more than 20 years, but for some reason it took almost as many years for
him to realize the common thread tying together all those meetings with
clients and the creative ideas they sparked -- Coffee.
Anytime a face-to-face meeting was
needed, it was inevitably scheduled at a local coffee shop. As Starbucks
became the revolutionary "third space" and a favored brand of
millions, it also became the de-facto meeting spot for any DTIG client
conference or impromptu brainstorm.
Soon after, the connection to rapid-fire
idea generation and the action and activity that went along with it became
apparent. It wasn't just the power of creativity -- it was CAFFEINATED
CREATIVITY.
Once that proverbial light bulb
flickered over DTIG's head, it was only a latte later that the idea to become
the world's first "Idea Barista" was born.
Brain-Storming becomes BEAN-Storming,
and the similarities between coffee, caffeine, and creativity seem to glow
with an energy all their own.
